Sant’Antioco is an island off the island, where the trees are sparse and the land expresses itself with large hills and small humps. It is a rocky land with rocks of all sizes and colors which tell us their story. Some are ancient remnants of human habitats stemming from our stone age, thousands of years ago.
The sea flows into the rocky curvatures of the land. The play of rocks and sea form different size bays. The bays embrace the blue green water held by the rocks on the sides and received by the colorful coral sand beaches. The play of rocks and sea is breathtaking. The water is warm, green blue and transparent, the waves are shallow inside the bays.
Between the rocks wild herbs and berries grow untamed and diverse, and the sheep love them.
We shall taste the multitude of sheep and goat cheeses of Sardinia and the special wines and fruits and vegetables. Archaeologic trips will reveal to us the human history and mysteries of the region.
We will have access to Snorkeling in these gentle waters, hiking along the coast, and boat rides in our free time.
